Saturday School

As the name implies, Saturday School occurs on Saturday.  Students may be assigned Saturday School as a consequence for tardies absences, or as a consequence to inappropriate behavior on campus.

Saturday School operates from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  The Saturday School curriculum focuses on the “Choices Program” where students learn self leadership skills that will enable them to achieve success personally and professionally.

When a student is assigned to Saturday school, he/she should be prepared for the following:

• Arrive at the assigned meeting place prior to 10:00 a.m.
• Bring a pencil and paper.
• Be prepared to spend 2 hours of intensive choices training.
• Display a cooperative and positive attitude.

Discipline issues will result in removal from Saturday School and no credit will be given for attendance.

PARENTS MUST PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM SATURDAY SCHOOL.
