New Website, New Tools!
Welcome to the new and improved website for Washington Union High School District! Our new platform, Panthers Live, addresses many of the shortcomings of traditional school websites.
Here are just a few of the new features:
- Every teacher has the ability to manage his or her own website. This empowers teachers to post classroom materials, reminders, and lessons.
- Every student/teacher/parent/guest can customize the homepage to show “feeds” from different parts of the website. This is a simple and effective way to funnel the relevant information right out of the mess, and stay updated.
- Follow us on Twitter, and receive text messages when there is updated information.
- The calendar system is much improved!! Print events in week, month, or agenda formats, or add them to your own calendar with just a click.
- Stay up to date with the Principal:Mr. Campbell says,
Washington Union has launched a ground breaking website for a school district. The promise of the internet and social websites is the ability to communicate and make distant communities small. Washington Union seeks to make our community of parents, students and teachers smaller by making communication easier.

Study Zone Start Date
Welcome back, Washington Union Panthers!! This is just a reminder that the Study Zone will begin on August 17th, 2009 (Monday).The Study Zone will be located in room H11, and runs from 3:20 PM-5:00 PM. If you would like to sign up for the Study Zone 4:30 bus, please sign up during your morning break at the Sophomore Academy (A5). Good luck this semester, and we’ll see you in the Zone!!

Classes have started for the 2009-2010 school year. Welcome back to all returning students and staff. Welcome freshmen, new students and new staff. Back to School Night will be August 27th (details will follow).
