Panthers wrestling win valley title

The 2010 Wrestling team battled back on Saturday in Shafter to win the Sequoia/Sierra Valley title after a dissapointing Friday performance. After numerous losses on Friday, the Panthers displayed heart and determination by placing 11 of 12 wrestlers to defeat the odds-on favorite, Selma. Washington’s placers include:

Boys basketball dumps Kerman

The Panthers boys basketball team beat Kerman 53-45 Wednesday night in the South Gym.
The victory in the North Sequoia League opener boosted Washington to 11-10 overall.
